Metals

Few cutting processes can match our MetalPros waterjet in brute cutting force, thanks to pressures up to 60,000 psi, pressures which, when matched with its tiny kerf (1 mm or 0.040”), can still produce tight corners cut to the highest tolerances. What’s more, because our waterjet cuts cold, there’s no worry about burnt edges or areas of the metal affected by excessive heat – and therefore few or no secondary operations are necessary. These unique benefits apply to exotic metals of all kinds, as well as steel, stainless, and aluminum.

Glass

Our waterjet process adapts perfectly to glass. We can cut the most delicate lead light glass or slice through the strongest 4” laminated bullet-resistant glass. An extremely defined cutting stream (0.040”) allows us to produce the most intricate shapes and, because the waterjet exerts essentially no load, to work with the thinnest glass.

Stone

MetalPros can cut any stone, natural or manmade, in intricate patterns, from slabs up to 6” thick, with less waste, in less time.

Gaskets

The flexibility of our waterjet cutting pays big dividends in reducing production and delivery time in the manufacture of gaskets. We cut essentially any gasket material, from hardened spring steel to paper, from brass to rubber, from copper to delicate graphite composites. And, because of the efficiency and accuracy of waterjet setups, the process works ideally for prototypes, one-offs, and other low-volume runs. In virtually any shape you can design.

Foam and Rubber

Our waterjet cutter shows off in softer materials, displaying rocket speeds in cutting foam, rubber, plastic, insulation, and woven materials of all sorts. The waterjet’s extremely fine cutting stream moves at speeds of 2500“ per minute among tightly nested parts to produce highly efficient yields in the shortest possible time – especially as we complement the waterjet’s capabilities with automated loading of raw material and unloading of finished parts.
